Fernando Torres has returned to Atletico Madrid training for the first time since suffering a head injury scare in last week’s draw with Deportivo La Coruna.
The 32-year-old spent a night under observation in hospital after suffering concussion following a head challenge with Depor’s Alex Bergantinos but was discharged the following day and attended Atletico’s 3-0 victory over Valencia on Sunday.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea striker returned to first-team training on Tuesday after completing gym work, although the club has given no indication of when he will return to action.
El Larguero radio show have reported Torres faces a minimum of two weeks out of action.
