Zinedine Zidane is not overlooking the threat of Las Palmas ahead of the side from the Canary Islands travelling to the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Sergio Araujo – now on loan at AEK Athens – equalised for Las Palmas six minutes from time to earn a point at Estadio Gran Canaria in the reverse fixture in September and the French boss believes their style of play can cause any side problems.
"We played a great game there, and they equalised right at the end," recalled Zidane at his pre-match press conference.
"I expect another tough game. They are a team who know how to play, technically very good in midfield. We do not want them to play easily in our half.
“Jese? He is a very good player, has shown that before and he has a lot of potential.
"At PSG it did not go as he wanted, he did not get the pitch time to show his talent. I wish him the best, from Thursday, and I hope he returns to the level he had before. I like him as a player and a person."
