Eduardo Berizzo dedicated Celta Vigo’s 2-0 win at Leganes on Saturday to their fans as “they supported us a lot”.
Celta consolidated their push for a top-six place with victory at Butarque, but while Berizzo was understandably pleased with the result, he reserved special praise for the supporters that made the 700-mile round trip to the Spanish capital.
“These are three important and deserved points: our objective, always, is to win the next game,” the Coach said after the match.
“I’m happy with the victory and squad. Those who have played less showed themselves to be important.
“The support and connection of the fans with the team is important.
“They supported us a lot at Leganes and I dedicate this win to them.”
