Krohn-Dehli undergoes further surgery

Sevilla midfielder Michael Krohn-Dehli has been dealt another injury setback after returning to training after nine months out of action.

The Dane had to undergo surgery on his left knee in April last year after dislocating his kneecap in the Europa League semi-final first leg clash against Shakhtar Donestk, and at the time was estimated to be missing for between seven and eight months.

However, after feeling discomfort in training, he has now been forced to have surgery on the meniscus muscle in his right knee.

Due to the injury being in the former Celta Vigo player’s other knee, there is concern around the injury but the prolonging of his absence will not be confirmed until results of the tests are through.
