Alvaro Arbeloa is on the verge of leaving West Ham United in the January transfer window, having only joined the club in August.
Reports in the English press suggest the former Real Madrid defender is close to exiting the London club having only played a total of 263 minutes for Slaven Bilic's side this season.
The 33-year-old was released by Los Blancos this summer having made over 250 appearances for the club since his 2009 move from Liverpool, but he has failed to make an impression upon his return to the Premier League.
El Mundo and Mundo Deportivo both report that his agent is already angling for a possible return to Spain in January.
