Milan chief set for Madrid role?

Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani may be on the verge of joining Real Madrid in a similar capacity.

According to ‘La Gazzetta’, the 72-year-old may be forced to change his position within the Serie A giants due to the sale of the club to the Sina Europe Sports Investment group.

Given his uncertain future, the report claims Galliani would not be willing to stay with Milan if his current position is not maintained, since it seems destined to go to former Juventus and Napoli CEO, Marco Fassone.

It is understood Madrid President Florentino Perez has already contacted Galliani to offer him a role at the Santiago Bernabeu, due to the good relationship the pair have formed over the years.

Nonetheless, there is also the possibility that Galliani could also decide to run for the presidency of the Italian League.
