‘Dinho the best of all time’

Las Palmas star Kevin-Prince Boateng claims Ronaldinho is the best player of all time, “over Zidane, Pele and Maradona”.

Boateng was asked by Fox Sports about the greatest football to have ever graced the game, and the attacking midfielder replied with former Milan teammate and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho, while electing not to mention the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Ronaldinho. When I came to Milan, Dinho wasn’t at his best, but when he wanted to, he showed what he could do with the ball and was impressive,” he said.

“In those moments, you’d realise that he was the best player in the world, over Zidane, Pele or Maradona.

“He could hit the crossbar however many times he wanted and juggled with the ball to an unimaginable extent. It was impossible to find a player with so much talent in 1.80m.”
