Alcaraz: Granada will be difficult

New Granada boss Lucas Alcaraz believes it will be a difficult year for the club, but he is determined to succeed and keep the club from relegation.

Alcaraz is beginning his third spell in charge of his local club – his first spell was between 1995 and 1998, while he also took the reigns of the 2013-14 season – having had a long playing career for the club.

"It will be a difficult year for us, there is no doubt about that but we are determined to succeed in meeting our objectives," said the 50-year-old boss.

"This team needs a lot of understanding and a lot of help, but if we are together I am convinced we can succeed.

"Our coaching team is more than capable of communicating well with the players in different languages."

Alcaraz's first game in charge of the Andalucian side will be away to Atletico Madrid after the international break.
