Jemez: My teams only play one way

Granada boss Paco Jemez has reiterated his desire to implement his football philosophy on his side, irrespective of results.

Jemez has forged a reputation as a high-risk manager who demands his side retain possession and attack but this high-octane brand of football does not always produce favourable results which have subsequently called his style into question.

"I want my team to play always in one way, regardless of the outcome," the former Rayo Vallecano boss told reporters ahead of Granada's tie with Athletic Bilbao.

"We know we have to improve to get our first win and we will put in the necessary hours in training to ensure this is sooner rather than later.

"We need to give an improved performance on recent games and show that we can play good football, after that results will follow."

Granada have collected only two points from their opening four fixtures, and host Athletic Club on Wednesday.
