Sevilla's Director of Football Monchi has explained how Samir Nasri was the final request of manager Jorge Sampaoli to complete his side.
The French midfielder became the club's eleventh summer signing after joining on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.
"He is the final player that the coach wanted to sign in this window," explained Monchi following the unveiling.
"We have been attempting to sign him virtually since the start of the summer.
"Nasri is a player of many qualities – he is adaptable and will help the attack, uses both feet and has the ability to keep possession high up the pitch."
