The UEFA Best Player in Europe Award is an all-La Liga affair as Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann are the trio in contention.
Ronaldo is seen as the resounding favourite to claim the honour, having won the 2015-16 Champions League and Euro 2016 with Real Madrid and Portugal respectively.
Bale won only the Champions League, although he played an instrumental role in Wales’ unlikely run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, while Griezmann was just as important in Atletico Madrid and France reaching the Champions League and European Championship finals.
Luis Suarez came fourth in the overall list, with his Barcelona teammate and last year’s winner Lionel Messi fifth, Real Madrid’s Pepe seventh and fellow Blanco Toni Kroos ninth.
The 2016 winner will be named during the Champions League group-stage draw in Monaco on August 25.
