Spain will begin their World Cup 2018 qualification campaign against Liechtenstein at the Estadio Reino de Leon in Leon.
The fixture, on September 5, will be La Roja’s second under the command of Julen Lopetegui, who was recently appointed to succeed Vicente del Bosque.
Spain’s first with the new Coach will be a friendly four days earlier in Belgium, in Brussels.
Reino de Leon has twice before hosted the national team, a 2003 3-0 win over Armenia in Euro 2004 qualification, and a 2-1 friendly win over Costa Rica in 2015. It is home to Segunda B side Cultural Leonesa and seats 13,451.
