Barca target Vietto dodges media

Luciano Vietto refused to speak to the media after Atletico Madrid's friendly win against Numancia on Saturday, amidst speculation of an agreement with Barcelona.

Vietto got on the scoresheet as Atleti defeated the Segunda side 2-0, but Sport claims the forward chose to avoid the mixed zone after the game in a bid to escape questions about Barca.

The newspaper adds the Argentine has yet to make a decision on his future but is nonetheless at "an important moment" in his career and is "solely focused" on the former.

Atleti are understood to have accepted a €22m offer from Barca for Vietto, plus a further €3m in variables, but Sport's line contradicts that of Marca, who insists Los Colchoneros are holding out for €30m, while Sevilla may also enter the fray if Kevin Gameiro moves on.

Nonetheless, the Catalan publication believes the former Villarreal star will make a decision before Monday, when Atleti begin their preseason tour of Australia.
