Alaves have confirmed the signing of defender Zouhair Feddal from Levante on a three-year contract.
Feddal arrives at Alaves on a free transfer, the Morocco international having left Levante upon expiry of his contract on July 1.
The La Liga new boys describe him on their official website as a player with “strength and quality”, who can “contribute decisively in defence and is good at bringing the ball out to start attacks”.
Feddal, who also has experience in Italian football, had been linked with a move to the Premier League during the second half of last season.
The 27-year-old becomes Alaves’ fourth summer signing after goalkeeper Adrian Ortola and forwards Christian Santos and Ruben Sobrino.
