Lyon to report Madrid to FIFA?

Lyon could report Real Madrid to FIFA for approaching fitness coach Antonio Pintus despite the trainer having a contract with the Ligue 1 club.

Mundo Deportivo cites reports from L’Equipe which say Lyon’s President, Jean-Michel Aulas, has threatened to take the issue to the world governing body after Pintus held talks over joining Zizou’s staff this summer, Pintus having worked at Juventus when Zidane was a player in Turin [Pintus pictured above with Juve players in 2006].

A Lyon spokesman confirmed the club where aware of Madrid’s attempts to hire Pintus to address the injuries that plagued the team last season, when there were 26 muscular problems.

Olivier Blanc also confirmed Pintus signed a three-year contract in June 2015 and Aulas has spoken of complaining to FIFA, with reports in France saying Pintus has already signed for Los Blancos.

It’s suggested that Lyon will miss out on compensation for Pintus as a clause in his contract allows him to break the agreement with 15 days’ notice.
