Kranevitter to replace Krychowiak?

Sevilla are reportedly considering a loan swoop for Atletico Madrid’s Matias Kranevitter if Grzegorz Krychowiak joins Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Sky Sports, Atleti intend to loan out Kranevitter next season so he can adapt to top-level European football as soon as possible, which is where Sevilla may come in.

The 23-year-old struggled to establish himself at the Vicente Calderon in the second half of last season, having arrived from River Plate last January.

However, he represented his native Argentina at Copa America and replaced Angel Di Maria after the break in Monday’s final against Chile, La Albiceleste going on to lose on penalties.

Sevilla, meanwhile, are facing the prospect of losing midfield enforcer Krychowiak to PSG in coming weeks as the French giants look set to appoint former Nervionenses boss Unai Emery as their new Coach.
