Reported Real Madrid and Atletico target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has confessed that “it’d be a dream” to play in Spain one day.
Aubameyang is reportedly the subject of a €58m offer from Manchester City, yet the Borussia Dortmund striker has a Spanish mother who was born in Avila and is on record as promising his maternal grandfather that he would turn out for a club in La Liga.
“It’d be a dream to play here because I have part of my family here,” the forward told Diario de Avila while on holiday in the region.
“It’s been my dream since I was a child and I’m very happy to be here. It’s been a long time coming.”
