Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets claims the €18m being asked by Celta Vigo for midfielder Nolito would be a good deal for his club.
Busquets is the latest to urge Barca to make the deal happen this summer, and claims his Spain teammates’ buy-out clause is a snip.
“In the current climate, €18m buys only the boot of a great player, so the price is good for Nolito,” he claimed on Onda Cero’s ‘Al primer toque’ programme.
The 27-year-old is not the only player who considers Nolito a giveaway at that figure. A few days ago Gerard Pique stated that “Nolito is a bargain at that price”.
Celta Vigo have repeatedly said the player’s starting price is his buy-out clause of €18m, with the relationship between the club and player believed to have been strained in recent months as negotiations drag on.
