Fernando Torres has reportedly agreed terms with Atletico Madrid on a one-year contract after turning down a performance-related second year.
According to Radio Marca, Torres has concluded talks with Atleti over a permanent deal, which will see him tied to the club until next summer.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea striker was expected to have been offered an additional year, but he is understood to have rejected the idea as it would have been conditional.
Torres is currently owned by Milan, having spent the last 18 months back at his boyhood club on loan, but will be a free agent on June 30.
