Jordi Alba insists the Real Madrid and Barcelona players in the Spain squad get along fine, remaining rivals but fighting for the same cause.
Alba is one of a number of Barca representatives with La Roja at Euro 2016 while Sergio Ramos and Lucas Vazquez carry the banner for Los Blancos, along with ex-Madrid players Iker Casillas and Alvaro Morata.
“It’s a very good locker room. There’s always rivalry between Madrid and Barca but we’re all defending the same with the national team,” the left-back told a Press conference, AS reports.
“The new people have settled in perfectly and that is vital because we are spending a lot of time together. It’s definitely better as because aside from the football, we’re spending a lot of hours with each other.
“Ramos? He’s a very important player, not only on the pitch. He offers a lot off it. I have a great relationship with him. He’s very important and he’s the mirror in which we see ourselves.”
