Barcelona are making a final push to get Samuel Umtiti from Lyon, starting this week.
Mundo Deportivo reports the Catalans’ desire to reach an agreement for the 22-year-old defender, with a five-year contract waiting for the France international.
Umtiti is said to be convinced by Barca’s offer but the clubs now have to agree terms on the transfer and Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas is notoriously difficult to deal with.
A fee of around €30m is suggested for Umtiti and if the transfer is completed, he will be presented once France’s involvement in Euro 2016 is at an end.
