Antoine Griezmann has reportedly committed his future to Atletico Madrid with a contract until 2021.
AS cites French publication L’Equipe in claiming Griezmann’s renewed terms, which will also see his contract clause raised to €100m in an effort to ward off suitors.
Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester United are said to be among the interested parties but Atletico have followed on from deals agreed with the likes of Jan Oblak in inserting a prohibitive release clause into the contracts of their in-demand players.
Griezmann had said it was his intention to remain with Atletico and hoped his contract would be settled before Euro 2016 starts, with France facing Romania in the tournament’s first game on Friday.
