Antoine Griezmann is ‘almost 100% sure’ Diego Simeone will stay at Atletico Madrid. ‘I’d be annoyed if he left, I need to keep learning from him.’
Griezmann told Bein Sports that he has spoken to Cholo about the Coach’s future after Simeone suggested he could quit in the wake of Atletico’s Champions League Final defeat to Real Madrid.
“He won’t go. I spoke with him and in relation to what he said I’m almost 100% sure he will stay with us. I’d annoyed if he left because I need to continue learning from him. I love working with him and if I’m still at Atletico it’s because I want to continue working with him and with the team,” the France international said, AS reports.
