Former English footballer Terry Gibson, now a La Liga pundit on Sky Sports, believes Barcelona could yet sell Neymar.
Gibson feels the Catalans would be prepared to lose the Brazilian striker over Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi should they be forced into a sale.
“If you asked me two months ago whether Neymar would stay I´d have said there was no chance he´d leave, but now I´m beginning to wonder should a club come in,” he told La Liga Weekly’s podcast.
“There have been stories about the [upgrade of] new stadium and the impact this could have on the finances at Barcelona. Therefore, if I think they had to sell one of Messi, Neymar and Suarez then I think it would be Neymar.
“He is 24, at the best age to sell, so he´s got a long time left as a player. You’d do all you could to keep Messi and Suarez so Neymar is the possibility.”
