An unnamed Deportivo La Coruna player reportedly advised Coach Victor Sanchez to leave the club this summer as he doesn’t have the squad’s support.
Mundo Deportivo and AS both cite a report from La Voz de Galicia which claim the player told Victor he should quit after the draw with Sevilla on April 17.
“Coach, what I’m going to say, you probably shouldn’t continue next year with the team. And don’t take this as a complaint or anything, it’s said with love and affection. Think about it and leave at the end of the season. It would be saving the team. You know you don’t have the support of most of the squad and the club.”
The report further claims that Victor has fallen out with numerous members of the playing staff and isn’t close to the sports management department either, even though he was signed to a new contract in January.
