Berizzo: Point is good, but…

Celta Vigo Coach Eduardo Berizzo will take a point from Espanyol but admits his side needed to manage their lead better.

Iago Aspas put Celta in front at Cornella-El Prat just before the half-hour but Marco Asensio levelled before half time, the scores staying that way until the end of the game.

“We have manager the lead better. It was a hard-fought match, the physical rhythm was very high. It’s always good to get a point, I said before and I’d say again, we’d be happier adding in threes, but the point will do,” Berizzo told reports, according to AS.

“We didn’t have calmness in attack which would have given us a goal, Espanyol reacted and we went back to square one. We’re in a situation where we need to think about next Monday [against Granada].”
