“We are all very motivated because when these opportunities present themselves they should be exploited,” Spain international Mario told a Press conference, the club’s official website reports, recalling the 2011 semi-final against Porto.
“You don’t know when these chances will return. A short time ago we were playing in the Segunda and to be able to fight for a semi-final makes us very excited. We have to seize this opportunity.
“We have to be ambitious and go for everything. We’ve done a tremendous job for many months and we have earned the right to fight for everything.
“It will be a very demanding tie. Sparta come after eliminating the favourites in prior rounds. Hopefully we can make a great game and get a good result.”
