Paco Jemez’s representative says there’s been no contact from Valencia but the Rayo Vallecano Coach ‘would love such an extraordinary club.’
Jemez was on Wednesday named as the favourite of Valencia owner Peter Lim to replace Gary Neville next season and AS, the publication with reported the story, spoke to Daniel Munoz, Jemez’s agent.
“Valencia haven’t called me. Hopefully they will because Paco would love to train such an extraordinary club,” Munoz admitted.
“They are one of the most important clubs in Spain, who have to fight for everything.”
Munoz insisted, though, that the only club with which he is speaking regarding Jemez’s job next season is Rayo.
“We started renewal talks two weeks ago but nothing is finalised, right now everything is stopped,” he confirmed.
“Valencia are one of two or three possibilities in Spain, but we must be cautious.
“Paco is a man and a Coach with personality and that’s what Valencia need and any big team needs.”
