Atletico Madrid could be without Fernando Torres against Deportivo La Coruna after the striker suffered a knee injury.
Marca reports the club confirming the injury but it’s not yet known how long El Nino is likely to be unavailable to Diego Simeone.
Torres is due to undergo an MRI on Wednesday having been unable to complete Tuesday’s training session.
Atletico host Deportivo at Vicente Calderon on Saturday but Torres’ involvement is considered doubtful.
The club’s official website confirms Torres felt discomfort after the win over Valencia, in which he scored, and has experienced pain and swelling to his right knee.
