Zinedine Zidane is frustrated at how quickly perceptions change at Real Madrid. ‘It was beautiful two months ago, now it’s black…’
Zizou was referring to the mood around Santiago Bernabeu following the derby defeat to Atletico Madrid and was asked about his future as Madrid go to Levante on Wednesday.
“I focus on the game, which depends on me. Nobody knows what could happen in three months,” he said, Marca reports.
“The day to day is what matters, what we do today and the match [on Wednesday]. I’m happy with what I’m doing, getting better every day.
“When I came here two months ago it was beautiful and now we’ve lost a game everything is black.
“I understand the concern – talking to the Press – but it’s not one of mine. What I have to do is work with my players because I know we’re going to move forward. Together.”
