Bravo ‘wants Champions League’

Claudio Bravo accepts the decision of Barcelona Coach Luis Enrique but admits he wants to play in the Champions League.

Bravo is Barca’s goalkeeper for La Liga but Marc-Andre Ter Stegen takes over in Cup competitions, including Europe.

“I’d be lying if I told you I was ok with it, because I always want to play,” Mundo Deportivo reports Bravo telling Chilean TV.

“I prepare to play every possible match, but the decision isn’t at the players’ level but a technical decision.

“[The Coach] is the one who makes these determinations and we have to work at our best and comply with every decision and with conviction for the team.

“It would be selfish to have a bad attitude, because my target is always to work for the group to obtain trophies.

“I have peace of mind to keep doing the right things, to prepare well and when I play to do my best.

“It’s not a decision of my play, but the Coach. I have to be calm and keep doing the same to reverse the decision.

“The beauty of football is the preparation. We not only prepare for every game but to win the League, the Copa del Rey or the Champions League.”
