Zinedine Zidane wants to see more goals from Luka Modric after he gave Real Madrid the win at Granada with a stunner.
Modric decided a game that saw Karim Benzema open the scoring and Youssef El-Arabi equalise with a long-rage effort.
“Modric has scored a golazo and given us life,” Zizou told reports post-match, according to AS.
“Above all he has given us three points. I’m happy for him. He should shoot more because he hits the ball well.”
Zidane was less complimentary about his side’s general play but advised against being overly critical.
“You have to remember there is a team in front of us and a crowd against us,” he noted.
“It’s normal that it’s harder away from home. I’ll take the three points. They’re very important.
“We had a hard time because this is a difficult place. Granada have good players and make it difficult for you.
“I stay with the good feeling and the attitude of the players. We’re not going to win easy. I’m happy with the result.”
