Gary Neville wants Valencia to put in a 90 minute performance in the Copa del Rey first leg against Las Palmas. ‘You have to give everything, every minute.’
Neville has yet to win a League game as Valencia Coach and faces Primera opposition in the Cup on Thursday night, and told reporters of how difficult he has found Spanish football.
“I saw the last League game of Las Palmas at Mestalla. I’ve been here five or six weeks and in England I already knew this would be a tough competition,” he said, AS reports.
“Forget Real Madrid and Barcelona…this is one the most competitive Leagues. You have to be 100% or it will go badly. You have to give everything in every minute of the game.
“Against Las Palmas I want a performance from minute one to minute 90, full concentration. It’s what every Coach looks for. We’re always looking for that, but it will be easier if we have a good game from the first minute.”
