Spain Coach Vicente Del Bosque praised the ‘fantastic’ form of Athletic Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz as he considers Euro 2016 call-ups.
Del Bosque, who in an interview with Cadena COPE also defended Iker Casillas from criticism, was asked about La Roja’s options in attack for the summer tournament.
“There are a lot of Spaniards scoring goals. Aduriz is fantastic and Paco Alcacer has not lost his eye for goal,” the trainer commented, according to AS.
“We’ll look for forwards who’ve had good seasons and who are complementary to what we want.
“La Liga is a good level. I don’t dare say there are three teams that are very good because there are a few others having an excellent season, making for a very compressed League, which is what you want.”
