Constantin Galca has conceded that Espanyol are “admittedly under pressure” ahead of Sunday’s trip to Getafe in La Liga.
The Catalans have won just one of their last seven League games to leave them only six points clear of the relegation zone and two behind their next opponents, and the Coach admits his side have no choice but to win at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
“Admittedly, we’re under pressure,” he said at a Press conference.
“We’re facing our most important and difficult game [on Sunday].
“[Getafe] are a compact team, who don’t leave spaces between the lines.
“It’ll be a difficult match, so we have to apply intensity.
“The team are only focused on beating [Getafe] and have trained very well. I hope we can reflect that.”
