Rubi was delighted with Levante’s 3-0 win at Sporting Gijon on Sunday but insisted “knowing how to suffer is also very important”.
A brace from Deyverson, sandwiched by an effort from Zouhair Feddal, earned the Coach his first victory in charge of the Andalucians, who in turn secured their first away success of the season.
“There was no single key to our win,” he said after the game.
“We were very good at set-pieces, which was the source for two of our goals, but no-one must think everything is done.
“We were very effective in the first half and when you arrive [in your opponents’ box] and score, things become easier.
“Sporting tightened up in the second half but failed to score.
“Most of our goals come from our forwards, but we must continue working.
“It’s normal that you encounter times of trouble in games and play better away from home [when you’re struggling], but knowing how to suffer is also very important.”
