Levante boss Rubi is expecting a difficult match against Sporting Gijon in Sunday’s early kick-off. “They’re doing things almost perfectly”
The Catalan trainer has yet to register a win since replacing Lucas Alcaraz at the helm of Les Granotes, and he admits his task will not get any easier when he takes his side to El Molinon.
“[Sporting] is one of our most difficult matches because they’re doing things almost perfectly,” he said at a Press conference.
“We expect a tough game against strong opponents who raise their game in front of their fans.
“It’ll be a very intense game, with two very young teams on the pitch.
“It should be very attractive for everyone, but the rain can make things difficult.
“We both know how one another plays and what we’re like at set pieces.
“We feel very supported by the fans and we encourage them to go to Gijon to watch the match.”
