Celta Vigo forward Nolito is happy to be versatile for Spain, preferring to play for the national team regardless of position rather than miss out.
Nolito spoke briefly to the Press to preview La Roja’s game against Belgium on Tuesday in Brussels.
“It’s a game for those who like to play, like England was, and of course I would love to play in it,” he said, the RFEF’s official website reports.
“It will be hotly contested and I’m sure it will be very enjoyable.
“I’ll play where I’m told. What I want is to play and I will anywhere at any time.”
Nolito also touched on the security situation in Belgium, after residents in the country were linked to the Paris terrorist attacks on Friday.
“You have to show respect, but you can’t live in fear. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again,” he commented.
