Berizzo rues Celta profligacy

Eduardo Berizzo lamented Celta Vigo's inability to make their chances count during Friday's stalemate with Getafe in La Liga

The Galicians were forced to settle for their second straight draw after they were unable to break down their resolute hosts, but the Coach felt a point was the fairest outcome in light of the two factors.

“We seemed to have created enough chances to win the game, but not converting them has held us back. We didn't attack as well as could,” he said after the game.

“It's a good point because it allows us to continue adding [to our tally], but Getafe deserved [a point] for their defensive organisation.

“[Augusto Fernandez's injury also meant] we moved the ball around slower than we needed to.

“Sometimes we all become more ambitious than we need to be. We've started the season very well on both a points and footballing level.”
