Bravo ‘out for three weeks’

The agent of Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has confirmed the Chile international’s calf injury will keep him out for three weeks.

Bravo’s absence was confirmed on Tuesday but his club didn’t put a date on when the former Real Sociedad stopper could be expected back.

“Claudio’s fine. I talked to him and he’s calm. It’s an injury that will take three weeks to recover to be 100%,” Cristian Ogalde told Chilean radio, AS reports.

“He thinks he’ll feel better in a week but needs to recover 100% so that it doesn’t happen again in a few months. He’ll miss some League games but it’s best to recover well so there’s not a relapse.

“He should be fit [to play Brazil on October 8]. He’ll have trained at least a week with Barcelona by then.”
