Doria in, Cordoba out at Granada

Granada have announced the signing of defender Doria from Marseille on a season-long loan with the view to a permanent deal next summer.

Big things were expected of the 20-year-old upon his arrival at Stade Velodrome last year, but he failed to make an appearance under then-Coach Marcelo Bielsa and was consequently shipped out to Sao Paulo in January.

Doria has one cap for Brazil and picked up a further nine for his country's Under-20 and Under-21 teams.

He will be joined at Granada by countryman and fellow stopper Neuton, who also arrives on a year-long arrangement from sister club Udinese.

As for outgoings, striker Jhon Cordoba has left for German side Mainz for the remainder of the campaign.

The 22-year-old scored four goals in 26 appearances for the Andalucians last term but has been allowed to pursue a career with the Bundesliga outfit, who also retain a purchase option.
