Joaquin has reportedly agreed a three-year contract with Real Betis and describes the move as a ‘good solution’ but Fiorentina want him to stay.
Estadio Deportivo claims the winger has reached an agreement to return to his first club but Fiorentina are not looking to let him go, despite Joaquin confirming he’s looking to leave Italy.
“It’s very difficult to stay in Florence,” he’s quoted as saying.
“Betis? It depends on the negotiations between the clubs. It would be a good solution for everyone.”
Joaquin’s current Fiorentina deal runs until 2016 but will be extended for a year if he plays 15 games.
