Sevilla to renew Krychowiak

Sevilla hope to ward off interest in Grzegorz Krychowiak by offering the Poland international a substantial pay rise in a new contract.

It’s claimed by Sevilla ABC that sporting director Monchi will in the near future look to open discussions with the player’s representatives after his successful first year at Nervion.

Krychowiak moved to a new representative agency in June and has of late been linked with a move to Arsenal, the Premier League club reportedly watching the midfielder in the UEFA Super Cup.

A departure isn’t expected, however, as the report reveals Krychowiak recently confirmed to the Sevilla hierarchy that he was happy with his current surroundings.

Sevilla still want to renew his contract, however, to guard against any issues down the line.
