Martin Odegaard believes he has more to show but can’t say for sure his short-term future is at Real Madrid.
Odegaard was the star attraction as Madrid and Valerenga drew 0-0 on Sunday, Rafa Benitez discussing the youngster’s contribution after the final whistle.
“I think I can show even more than what’s been seen so far,” the teenager said himself, Marca reports.
“I’ve learned a lot in training and in matches. It’s gone well and I feel good. I don’t have a specific goal for the season, just to improve, that’s all.
“I’m 16 and I’m handling things as best I can. There’s a lot ahead. I’m not rushing anything and I don’t feel stressed.
“The Segunda B is a tough League, with a lot of complicated opponents and pitches that are often very poor.
“We’ll see about the future when pre-season finishes. I’m happy at Madrid.”
