Victor Sanchez has confirmed Deportivo La Coruna are in talks to sign Lucas Perez but admits the deal “seems like the saga of the summer”.
The Galicians are currently locked in negotiations with PAOK for the winger following his successful loan spell last season, but EFE understands that a fee has yet to be agreed, despite the player travelling to A Coruna last week.
“It seems like the saga of the summer,” the Coach told a Press conference.
“It seems very close, but I prefer not to speak too soon. Once it’s official, we will make it public, but it’s not for me to say how negotiations are progressing.
“It seems that only some details are missing, but I hope [the transfer] happens as soon as possible so the player doesn’t miss too much training.”
