Granada are reportedly closing on a triple swoop for Atletico Madrid midfielder Ruben Perez, Udinese forward Nico Lopez and Sporting Lisbon’s Miguel Lopes.
The Andalucians are keen to avoid another season of struggle, having stayed up by the skin of their teeth last time out, and Marca claims three signings are on the cusp of being completed.
The first name is Perez, who enjoyed a successful six-month stint at Granada in 2014-15 but has since returned to Atleti.
Although they have yet to hear a response from Los Colchoneros about retaining the player, the consensus is a positive one.
Another player close to Granada is Lopes, with a deal expected to go through this week, while Lopez should follow in the Portuguese’s footsteps, albeit on loan, once a new contract with Udinese is thrashed out.
One man on his way out looks to be Daniel Larsson after a disappointing debut season since his switch from Real Valladolid.
