Adriano’s agent has said the defender is looking to quit Barcelona because he feels it’s time for a chance of scenery.
Roma have been strongly linked with the full-back and Douglas, Adriano’s Barca teammate and fellow Brazilian, has written a goodbye message on social media.
“[Roma’s offer] is very tempting and he thinks it’s time for a change,” Paulo Affonso said, Sport reports.
“It’s time to face new challenges and take advantage of the offer of a big Italian team.
“We have a perfect relationship with everyone at Barcelona and they have been very good to us.
“As professionals we have to handle the situation with intelligence and patience to reach an agreement for a transfer.”
