Atletico Madrid have reportedly agreed to sign Fiorentina defender Stefan Savic for €12m plus midfielder Mario Suarez.
The Montenegro international is expected to land in Madrid on Monday for a medical, before joining up with his new teammates in the Spanish capital.
Atleti had been looking for defensive reinforcements following the departures of centre-backs Joao Miranda and Toby Alderweireld.
Suarez, meanwhile, will link up with La Viola at their United States training camp, but not until a medical has been passed – also on Monday.
