Goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Celta Vigo until 2018.
The 28-year-old has spent his entire career at the club and broke into the first team during the 2010-11 season.
“It was a simple renewal and we reached an agreement quickly,” Alvarez told Celta TV after signing his new deal.
“I am happy to be continuing here for another three years, I will try to help build a stronger Celta.
“The club has shown that it has faith in me with this three-year contract.”
