Sevilla have completed the signing of Yevhen Konoplyanka from Dnipro on a free transfer after finally receiving clearance for the player to join.
An agreement between the Europa League winners and the Ukraine winger was announced last week, subject to a medical and ratification from the player’s former club.
However, both obstacles have since been cleared, according to Sevilla’s official website, and he is now due to join the rest of Unai Emery’s squad in La Manga for pre-season training.
Konoplyanka, 25, has signed a four-year contract at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, with a buyout clause of €40m, and could yet be supplemented by Mauricio Isla and Ciro Immobile, if reports are to be believed.
